Clive Richmond met his wife to be, Mandy, when he was 21 and she was 20. Deciding to travel around Australia, they spun a penny high in the air to decide which way to go. After travelling around Australia, they loved being gypsies so much they did it again – and again. In fact, they have spent nearly all their life travelling to various parts of Australia, moving from job to job and place to place, even after they had children. The road kept calling to them, and they enjoyed the freedom, the beauty of the Australian countryside, and the opportunity to meet new people, make new friends, and learn more about Australia.
Clive’s first book, “Southern Cross Gypsies”, is crowded with amusing and fascinating tales of their adventures, as well as some close calls. The book appeals to the wanderlust in all of us.
The book has just been published by Jabiru Publishing, July 2017. It is available from www.jabirupublishing, “Book Store”, “Memoirs”.
